  Essential information when troubleshooting refrigeration systems

Compressor running time too short

• Differential setting on low pressure control too low.
• High-pressure control setting too low, i.e. too close to normal operating pressure.
• Condensing pressure too high because of: a) Dirty/clogged condenser surfaces. b) Fans stopped/water supply failure. c) Defective phase/fuse, fan motor. Too much refrigerant in system. d) Air in system.
